Human actions and movements in creative practices are sometimes difficult to put in words, the body knows what to do but doesn’t need words to do it. It has been called Tacit Knowledge and is often discarded as unspeakable in art and craft debate. But experts do talk about it, artistic practice and craft is taught and disputed hands-on at the workshop floor. The Nomenclature of Craft specific Technique verbs list an increasing number of concepts developed out of the terminology of creative practices. The nomenclature makes up a genealogical systematization of gerund verbs and orient the concepts in order of the Material Logic on which they are based.
